Common uses

• Six is half a dozen.
• A six-pack holds six cans or bottles.

Less common uses

• Six is the smallest perfect number, because it equals 1 + 2 + 3, the sum of its divisors smaller than itself.
• Honeycomb cells are six-sided hexagons.
